I always take Benjy for a brisk stroll in the early morning around the perimeter path of Fernwood Estate and on Wednesday morning it was something special. We have a view from the estate right across False Bay to Table Mountain and the peninsula so I quickly noticed a storm over Cape Town about 40kms away from us. When I saw the lightning bolts, I wished I'd taken my camera with me but luckily someone in Cape Town was on the ball and captured the moment spectacularly. The shots here show the City Bowl, the V&A Waterfront area and Table Mountain/Lions Head.
